Kayak & Camping Trip - 2004

A Kayaking & Camping trip was held on June 12-13.  The kayaking took place on the Connecticut River.

We met at the UCC, early Saturday morning and drove to North Star Canoes, in Cornish, NH.  Once there, we were be outfitted with life vests, paddles and kayaks, and then transported upriver approximately 12 miles.  We spent the course of Saturday paddling down the Connecticut River. 

Afterwards, we will drove to Wilgus State Park (on the Vermont side of the river) and set up camp.  Sunday, after breaking camp, there was an optional hike on nearby Mt Ascutney for those who desired to do so.  Those not participating in the hike traveled back to the UCC,.
