Boston Harbor Island Camping Trip

An overnight camping trip to Thompson Island (in Boston Harbor) was held on October 2-3.

Activities on the island included use of the Outward Bound facilities, under the guidance and supervision of the Outward Bound staff.  (Click here for a link to the Thompson Island Outward Bound website.)

We left the UCC parking lot at 7am, and drove to the Marine Industrial Park / EDIC dock in South Boston.  The Outward Bound ferry left the dock at 8:30am for Thompson Island.   

Patrols provided themselves with Saturday lunch & dinner, and Sunday breakfast & lunch.

We left Thompson Island on Sunday at 2:00pm.  The ferry returned us to the dock by 2:30pm and we were back in Medfield around 5:00pm.
