Child Island/Webelos
- 2004
This year, our annual Webelos event was held December 5, at
Child Island in Medfield. This excellent location gave us the opportunity
to really demonstrate Scouting skills to the Webelo scouts from Packs 113 and
200.
The Senior Patrol set up a campsite Friday night and slept over.
The other patrols cooked the meals on Saturday, using three different
techniques; Dutch oven, tin foil and shish-ka-babs. After lunch, many of
the Webelos (and some parents) were shuttled over to Devil's Foot Island, for a
look at where we camp in the spring.
